At the 22nd International Robot Olympiad, held in 2020, Bangladesh won 15 medals in total, 2 of them gold! Besides the 2 gold, the Bangladesh team won 2 silver, 5 bronze and 6 technical medals. The Bangladesh team had 19 members in all.
Gold medals
In the creative category, junior group, Misbah Uddin and Zaima Zahin of the Robo Sparkers team, and in Robot in Movie, challenge group, Nashitat Zainah Rahman and Kazi Mostahid of the RoboTigers team, won gold medals.
Silver medals
In Robot in Movie, junior group, Mahir Tazwar Chowdhury and Shadidur Rahman of the Robo Dreamers team, and in the creative category, challenge group, Kazi Mostahid and Nashitat Zainah Rahman of the RoboTigers team, won silver medals.
Bronze medals
In the Robot in Movie competition, bronze medals went to Misbah Uddin and Zaima Zahin of the Robo Sparkers team in the junior group, and to Tashrik Ahmed and Soyeb Abir of the Robolution team in the challenge group.

In the creative category competition, technical medals went to Zaria Musarrat and Syeda Laiba of the Robo Verse team and Shadidur Rahman and Mahir Tazwar Chowdhury of the Robo Dreamers team in the junior group, and to Sudipta Mondal and Md. Muhaiminul Islam of Team Matrix in the challenge group.
Competition details
Because of the COVID-19 situation, the 22nd International Robot Olympiad of 2020 was held online. The International Robot Olympiad Committee (IROC) supervised the Olympiad, which was run from the city of Daegu in South Korea. On 12 and 13 December the Bangladesh team took part in the 22nd International Robot Olympiad from the BCS Innovation Centre in the capital. This year the set theme of the International Robot Olympiad was ‘Robot: The Future Transportation‘।
